June 18th, 2007 in Actors, Comedy, Movie News, Movies -

sandler-albom.jpg Adam Sandler and author Mitch Albom are currently finalizing an agreement to pick up the rights to a script written by Albom for a baseball comedy.  Columbia Pictures and Sandler’s Happy Madison are in talks to get the feature film which would star Sandler himself.

The film has not yet been titled, and has been described as a comedy set in the world of baseball.

Albom is perhaps best known for his smash-hit books Tuesdays with Morrie, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, and his most recent publication, For One More Day.  All three books have been made into telepics.
