“Finding t.A.Tu.” Lands OC Star Mischa Barton

Mischa Barton is set to film a new film in Russia called “Finding t.A.Tu”. The film is a coming of age piece that has an American teen in Moscow who meets a friend who shares an interest in the pop band t.A.Tu.

The movie, set to open late this year, will be filmed in Russia this summer. The movie is based on the book “t.A.T.u. Come Back”. Band mates Lena Katina and Yulia Volkova, who made international headlines by saying they were teenage lesbian lovers, will play a small part in the film and call the movie “scandalous”. t.A.T.u. music, which is pop/dance, will be featured in the film.

Roland Joffé, an Englishman, is slated to direct the upcoming film. Joffé has an extensive resume as he has two Academy Award nomination for Best Director for The Killing Fields, 1984 and The Mission, 1986.
