Matthew McConaughey isn’t shy about acting out one of Hollywood’s more clichéd practices. On the promise of extra pay, McConaughey convinced several female extras the set of Surfer Dude to go topless during a pool party scene.

Pushing his luck even further, Matthew (one of the film’s stars as well as a producer) then requested the girls act out some girl-on-girl action. Luckily for him, few were offended and only one girl walked off after the second request.

The promised pay increase, however, isn’t likely to pan out for the girls. One of McConaughy’s reps told gossip site TMZ:

“You should check with the Screen Actors Guild as they determine the pay scale and not Matthew McConaughey.”

Surfer Dude tells the twisting tale of a soul searching surfer experiencing an existential crisis. Matthew will play the role of the surfer, and it was revealed late last month that he had signed on two new, young stars: Zach Knighton (The Hitcher) and Alexie Gilmore (Fox TV Series New Amsterdam).
