“No Country for Old Men” Trailer
A trailer for the Coen Brothers’ latest film, No Country for Old Men, has hit the web. The movie is a film adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s novel of the same name.
No Country for Old Men was written and produced by Joel and Ethan Coen, and production began in May 2006. The film was first screened this year at the Cannes Film Festival, and will be released in US theaters November 9, 2007.
The film follows Llewelyn Moss, a husband hunting near the Rio Grande who comes across a drug deal gone bad. He finds left there a stash of heroin, $2 million dollars, and a few dead bodies. But violence continues after his find, with two more men found murdered. Finally, the local Sheriff realizes that Moss and his wife need protection. But things get evn more dangerous when various men, from ex-Special Forces members to ruthless freelancers, show up to find the truth and destroy evidence.
The film stars Tommy Lee Jones, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, Woody Harrelson, Kelly MacDonald, Stephen Root, Garrett Dillahunt, and Jason Douglas.
