Remember the low-budget comedy “Waiting” that was out a few years ago starring Ryan Reynolds?  It looks like its about to get a sequel called “Still Waiting”, which will begin production later this month in North Hollywood.

The first “Waiting” movie pleasantly surprised me when I picked up the DVD.  I was expecting a dog, and was surprised when I found myself enjoying it.  Though I would definitely say that if raunchy, immature humor isn’t something you find enjoyable, then you’ll probably hate it. I, however, found it to be a comical look at the restaurant industry.

Most of the original film’s cast are expected to be back, including Ryan Reynolds, Anna Farris, Justin Long, David Koechner, Luis Guzman, Chi McBride, Kaitlin Doubleday, Robert Patrick Benedict, Vanessa Lengies, Max Kasch, Andy Milonakis, and Dane Cook.  However, it’s not yet known whether they’ll be taking on the lead roles or if they’ll be making brief cameos.

There’s no word yet on a release date.
