Indiana Jones Set Robbed!

October 3rd, 2007 in Action, Movie News -

First there was the kid with a small part who squealed about the next Indiana Jones film’s plot line, and now over 2,500 stills have been stolen from the set of Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull.   The thieves aren’t likely to be crazed fan-boys, and instead appear to be simply stupid criminals.  Reportedly, they’ve tried selling the images to several movie websites.

Thus far, no one’s taken them up on the offer, and not because they wouldn’t love to get their hands on them, but because they probably wouldn’t be to happy to have the FBI show up at their doors.  Paramount has claimed that the FBI is involved in this case.

The pictures are supposedly pretty revealing, and producers are scrambling to recover the photos that were taken by photographer David James.  The pictures are reported to have been stolen from the Paramount Lot.

Earlier today, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department arrested a man in connection with the stolen photos.  Officials have said that other suspects are still being sought, so there may still be some photos floating around.
