Colin Farrell Opens “In Bruges” Sundance Film Festival
“Colin Farrell stars in Playwright turned filmmaker, Martin McDonagh, first feature film “In Bruges,” opens the Sundance Film Festival on Jan. 17.
The film tells a story about two hit men forced to take a vacation in Bruges, Belgium.
In his playwriting career, McDonagh won Olivier Awards for “The Lieutenant of Inishmore” and “The Pillowman” as well as Tony nomination for “The Lieutenant of Inishmore,” “The Pillowman,” “The Beauty Queen of Leenane” and “The Lonesome West.
In 2006, his first film “Six Shooter” won the Oscar for live-action short.
