On November 6th, 2007

Next week, on November 13, 2007, Rhino Entertainment is releasing “The McCartney Years” 3-DVD set featuring much of the former Beatles’ great work.  The DVD set features solo music videos, career-spanning live performances, personal commentary from Paul McCartney and exclusive video footage that tracks his incredible multi-decade musical career.

Volumes One and Two of the 3-disc set contain an awesome collection of Paul McCartney music videos, starting in the 1970′s with  McCartney’s first solo single, “Maybe I’m Amazed.”  Also included is the Wings promo video for “Band on the Run”, as well as hits from the 1980′s like “Say Say Say”, and the 1990′s with “The World Tonight”.  The collection of music videos ends with 2005′s “Fine Line”.  You have the choice of watching the videos either in chronological order as play lists personally arranged by Paul with his voice-over commentaries.

Volume three of the set includes live performances taken from three classic McCartney shows: “Rockshow”, which was filmed on Wings’ 1976 world tour, new edits of “Unplugged” in 1991, and McCartney’s 2004 headlining performance at the Glastonbury Festival.

The DVDs also contain tons of extra special features, making this a must-own set for any Paul McCartney fan.  The MSRP is just $34.99, but you can pick it up for a reduced price of $24.49 on Amazon now.
