“P.S. I Love You” Motion Picture Soundtrack

On November 20th, 2007

Atlantic Records has announced the impending release of “P.S. I Love You Music From The Motion Picture” on December 4, 2007.  The film itself will open in U.S. theaters nationwide on December 21.

The album features tracks for a wide range of artists, including James Blunt, the Pogues, Paolo Nutini, Nellie McKay, Chuck Prophet, Toby Lightman, Fueled by Ramen, The Academy Is, and NEEDTOBREATHE.

“Same Mistake”, the second single from James Blunt’s album, All The Lost Souls, will be featured in the movies upcoming advertising campaign.  Blunt will also be performing the song a number high-profile television programs.

In celebration of the album and movie release, Screenhead is giving away a copy of the “P.S. I Love You Soundtrack.”  In order to be eligible to win, you must live in the US, Canada, or UK.  To enter, simply leave a comment on this post, and make sure you use an email address when you register (only we will be able to see it) so that we may contact you if you are chosen as the winner.

    Movie was great…we laughed, we cried….Ireland is beautiful and the music is wonderful…made me come online in search of info about the soundtrack.

    Hello there all…. I Missed the book but now that I have seen the movie I am in search of said book… LOVE & LOVED the movie, more than a “chick flick”, a slice of the heart for both genders to glimps. A must see that I recommend to all that I talk books, movies and as I understand it… the music that is out as well… Beautuful. ~ Kat

    This movie is fantastic, just beautiful!!

    The song played at the wake is called fairytale of new york by the Pogues

    Hi, I just saw the movie Ps I love you and I loved it. Although the book is different the movie captures so well the story. I also like Gerry eh eh is super sweet, funny and cute ;P

    It has to be a good movie,for me; before I think about sitting down to watch.I perfer music,more.
    Seen the movie,in theater,with my Daughter,sister-in-law,& her,best Friend.I’am so touched. laughed & cried. Great movie!!!! I, seen it on satellite,countless times. Still.
    Still,gets to me as if I seen it the very, 1st time.
    I Love the way, Gerry looks at Holly.All the way through,all round,Top movie

    does anyone know the song that is playinb when they start to give the intro on the names of the actors and a scenery of new york? been dying to know the name. any one who knows please please plese tell me.

    Read the book, saw the movie, loved them both! when the characters are so real you can feel their pain and laugh or cry with them, then you know for sure it is truly a memorable movie.

    I Love the movie, I’ve watched it probally ten times. I’ve had a love like that and I lost my husband of 42 years. Would love to have the songs that Gerald Butler sings in the Movie. It was a heart felt and tear jerker movie for me. Thank You

    YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MANY TIMES I HAVE WATCHED THIS MOVIE. I JUST LOVE IT,AND I WILL WATCH IT EVERY TIME IT COMES ON. HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND THE SOUNDTRACK TO NO AVAIL. WOULD LOVE TO HAVE IT.
