Stallone Looking at ‘Death Wish’

November 4th, 2007 in Movie News -

On the remake binge, Sly Stallone considers bringing “Death Wish” to his list of credits. With “Rocky” sequels and “Rambo” coming to the screen soon, Stallone plans to direct and star in this remake about a typical guy who goes vigilante after his wife and daughter are attacked.

MGM plans to produce with Michael Ferris and John Brancato scripting the remake. Some of their writing credits are “Terminator 3″ and “Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins.

Of course, I am sure you remember Charles Bronson staring as Paul Kersey in the original “Death Wish.” The film generated a franchise of sequels, which means it was profitable.
