‘Legend’ Leads Foreign Market

December 24th, 2007 in Box Office, Movie News -

photo_05.jpgI am not too familiar with the foreign market for American films. Therefore, I don’t know if I should be surprise that “I am Legend” makes a solid gain in the International box office market during the pre-Christmas weekend with $25.3 million.

Will Smith’s boding evil thriller led a profitable eclectic bunch of five films – “National Treasure: Book of Secrets,” “The Golden Compass,” Enchanted,” “Alvin and the Chipmunks” and “Bee Movie.”

With the two-week holiday vacation to follow, foreign box office should end the year with a bang as Hollywood has already scored over $1 billion in 2007.
