Rhino Entertainment is releasing the “Barry Manilow: Songs From the Seventies” on January 29.  The DVD features Manilow performing live in his old Brooklyn stomping grounds.  Footage for the DVD was filmed in September 2007 as a television special at the old Navy Yard in Brooklyn, just down the street from where he grew up in Williamsburg.

The television special first aired on PBS stations across the U.S. in early December, and is now finally about to be available on DVD.  The two DVD set includes the TV special in 5.1 surround sound on disc #1, and a bonus disc featuring an unaired mini-concert alternate performances, and behind-the-scenes footage.  Check it out, and pick one up for yourself next week!
