Actor Hugh Dancy and actress Krysten Ritter have both been confirmed as the latest additions to Disney’s upcoming film, Confessions of a Shopaholic.  The film is based off British author Sophie Kinsella’s best-selling series of the same name about a fiscally irresponsible woman who pens a financial advice column.  Starring as the shopaholic in the film is Isla Fisher.  Dancy will play the editor of the magazine where Fisher workers, and Ritter will  play Fisher’s goofy best friend.

Producing this Disney flick is Jerry Bruckheimer (CSI, Pirates of the Caribbean), and P.J. Hogan is directing.  The book series is set in London, but the movie will actually be shot across the pond in New York and Connecticut. Booo!
