One of my all time favorite actresses of theater and screen, Ruby Dee, will receive the NAACP Chairman’s Award at the 39th Annual NAACP Annual Image Awards on February 14th.

Ruby Dee also is honored with an Academy Award nomination for her role in “American Gangster.”
