If you are a big Batman series fan you may want to take a trip out to Six Flags this summer. Why? In celebration of the upcoming film ‘The Dark Knight’ Six Flag parks in Jackson, NJ, Gurnee, IL, and Agawam, MA will feature a roller coaster with a theme of the movie. If you are a Batman fan that happens to love roller coasters, it sounds like a can’t miss adventure of fun.

Six Flag’s Vice President of Entertainment and Marketing Mike Antinoro said in a press release about the coaster:

“The Dark Knight film is a powerful follow-up to Batman Begins and we expect The Dark Knight Coaster to be a can’t miss event for all audiences this summer as well.”

The Dark Knight Coaster will truly bring the theme of the movie into the ride itself. Sound, video, and special effects will all combine with a thrilling coaster to mesh the experiences together.

Dark Knight comes to theaters on July 18th. You won’t have to wait that long for the roller coaster to open. The $7.5 Million dollar coaster will open when Six Flags starts their season this spring.
