Kate Hudson and Thomas Haden Church are set to star in “Big Eyes.”

Church nabbed the role Walter Keane, who became a celebrity in the 1950s and ’60s for a series of paintings of big-eyed children. The paintings turned into a mass-market phenomenon.

You probably remember Church from ”Spider-Man 3.” Next, he’ll be seen in “Smart People,” which Miramax opens April 11.
