MTV Awards happen today.  The winners that stood out for me are Best Female Performance — Ellen Page for “Juno” and, of course, Best Comedic and Best Villain Johnny Depp for “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End” and “Sweeney Todd.”

Another favorite of mine is Tom Cruise presenting Adam Sandler the Generation Performance, the highest honor.
