Cohen Pulls Off Arab-Israeli Sketch for Bruno

On July 9th, 2008

bruno_narrowweb__300x3710 Baron Cohen is known for his crazy antics in Borat, but just how far is he willing to go for Bruno, his upcoming comedy about a gay European model in the States?

The Sun reports that he managed to bring together a former Israeli spy and a Palestinian academic into an interesting sketch. He was granted an interview with the pair in Jerusalem’s Old City under the guise of a youth documentary.

Cohen posed questions and various ridiculous statements about the Arab-Israeli conflict such as "Why didn’t you settle the conflict with a time share on the land?", "When will you Jews return the pyramids?" and finally "Your conflict is not so bad. Jennifer-Angelina is worse."

The film opens May 15, 2009.
