Word comes from Variety that Christian Gudegast (A Man Apart) has signed on to direct the bank heist drama Den of Thieves for Relativity Media.

The screenplay for the movie was written by Gudegast with Paul Scheuring nearly a decade ago. The story is centered on a thief who is planning a heist but gets trapped between two sets of criminals.

Shooting is scheduled to begin this Fall.
