Following the success of Harold & Kumar‘s second outing, Variety is reporting that series scribes Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg are set to pen a third installment.

While it is too early for story details to be given out, stars John Cho and Kal Penn are expected to reprise their roles as potheads as the studio has options on them for the third installment.

Greg Shapiro will return as producer, with Warner Bros. likely distributing the third film.
