Pulse 2 Cover Art More Exciting than Original Movie

The original Pulse was a lackluster affair: it lacked the mood, it lacked the characters and, most importantly, it lacked the horror. Heck, even this new cover art for Pulse 2: Afterlife is more exciting than the entirety of the first film.

A sequel to the 2006 remake of the excellent Japanese thriller, this entry stars Jamie Bamber and is heading straight to DVD on September 30.

The art’s kind of a mess, it looks like they just threw a bunch of scary stuff at the wall to see what would stick. I’m not sure exactly what’s happening to the woman front and center, but her facial expression is more appropriate for her kid’s death bed than for a black hole in the kitchen floor from which she seems to be emerging…or whatever that is.
