Over on SuperHeroHype is word that Tyrese Gibson is hoping to bring the classic ’80s cartoon series to the big-screen. He hinted in the interview that a deal is nearly complete and that he might appear in the movie, though no specific characters were named.

The project was originally announced as a CG-animated feature at Warner Bros. Pictures that would be directed by Jerry O’Flaherty. It is not known if Gibson was referring to this movie, or a live action one.
