Firth Joins Dorian Gray
Colin Firth will star opposite Ben Barnes (Prince Caspian) in the new version of the Dorian Gray story for Ealing Studios. Based on the classic Oscar Wilde story, the film will center on Gray (Barnes), a young man who becomes the subject of a painting.
As he descends into a hedonistic lifestyle, his portrait begins to age and morph, but he doesn’t. Firth will play Lord Henry Wotton, the aristocrat who corrupts Gray with his view of the world.
The film has already begun shooting with Oliver Parker in the director’s seat.
