The Hollywood Reporter carries word that Marco Garibaldi’s Godfather Entertainment will produce a remake of the 1968 Peter Sellers film The Party. The original film centered on Bakshi, an Indian extra accidentally invited to a glamorous Hollywood party.

The new version has a hapless blond Midwesterner having his appearance changed to resemble an Indian by a studio eager he fit a part.

The company is also developing a mob movie called The Vault and is teaming up with Nu Image Films for psychological thriller Last Chance Motel.
