Those reporters at the Hollywood Reporter send word that Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay will adapt the comic The Boys for Sony Pictures and Original Films.

The series followed the adventures of a CIA squad known as “the boys” whose job was to keep watch over superheroes and if need be, intimidate or eliminate them.

Manfredi and Hay have also adapted the comic RIPD which is in development at Universal.
