Variety reports that Warner Bros. will produce and finance the Coco Chanel biopic “Coco Avant Chanel” starring Audrey Tautou.

The actress will play the pioneering French fashion designer who revolutionized the world of fashion with new designs. Chanel made herself an important figure in the history of 20^th-century fashion.

The film is also being produced by Haut et Court and Cine. Its script has been written by Anne and Camille Fontaine, with them directing. The shooting is scheduled to begin in Paris starting September 15; it will last for 12 weeks.
