On behalf of Genius Products and The Weinstein Company, Screenhead welcomes the upcoming arrival of the Vietnamese blockbuster hit, The Rebel, on DVD September 30th. The Dragon Dynasty title will be released as a 2-Disc Ultimate Edition.
The Rebel is the highest grossing Vietnamese film to date!
The story takes place in 1920s Vietnam during the long-standing French colonization, rebel forces emerge to disrupt the foreign control as the French employ elite Vietnamese agents to destroy them.
The movie is filled with martial arts, battles and love scenes. English is in subtitles.
The Rebel 2-Disc Ultimate Edition stars contemporary Asian superstars Johnny Nguyen (The Protector), Dustin Nguyen (“21 Jump Street,” Finishing the Game) and Vietnamese pop star/actress Ngo Thanh Van. The DVD also includes extensive and exclusive behind-the-scenes bonus features.
