Variety reports that Michael Caine (Alfred, The Dark Knight) will star in British crime thriller Harry Brown.

He will play an elderly former serviceman who is drawn to vigilantism while living in a run-down suburb filled with gangs and drugs.

The feature also stars Emily Mortimer as a policewoman. Gary Young has penned the script, with the film being directed by Daniel Barber.
