Adding yet another book to his adaptation list, Josh Olson has announced that he will translate to the big-screen Lee Child’s thriller novel One Shot for Paramount Pictures.

One Shot is part of a series of suspense novels about Jack Reacher, an ex-army policeman. In this case, he investigates a murder case where an ex-infantry trained sniper is arrested for shooting five random victims.

Oldson is still working on his version of L. Frank Baum’s Oz books at Warner Bros. and Dennis Lehane’s Until Gwen.
