From STYD comes word that Mark Pellington is attached to direct New Line’s Solace, an upcoming horror film with a psychic serial killer.

Pellington’s past work included The Mothman Prophecies, Arlington Road and Henry Poole is Here.

The movie follows a doctor with psychic abilities who meets his match in a serial killer with similar powers. The two then play a cat and mouse game which gets complicated as they can match each other’s moves.

The script has been drafted by Sean Bailey and Ted Griffin.
