The Hollywood Reporter reports that Susan Saradon and Richard Dreyfuss have signed on to comedic thriller Leaves of Grass for Nu Image/Millennium Film.

The film also stars Edward Norton as twin brothers, one an Ivy League professor and the other a small-time marijuana grower. The professor is lured back to his Oklahoma hometown for a doomed scheme against a local drug lord that unravels his life.

Saradon will play the brothers’ mother, with Keri Russell in negotiations to come in as a love interest.

Leaves of Grass has been penned by Tim Blake Nelson who will also direct the feature. Shooting is scheduled to begin September 22.
