Shane Black, best known for writing the Lethal Weapon movies, is set to direct Cold Warrior.

Cold Warrior is written by Chuck Mondry. The story centers on a spy from the Cold War era who comes out of retirement to work with a younger agent associated with the new school that confronts domestic terrorism threat caused by Russia.

It’s good to hear Black is back, even though it’s in the chair not the script, although I am sure he’ll influence the script from behind the camera.
