Variety carries word that 24’s Stephen Hopkins will helm the romantic comedy Chasing Bohemia for Brazil-based GreenGo Productions.

Based on Carmen Michael’s book about her experiences in Rio de Janeiro, the book tells the story of a twenty-eight year old travel industry executive who ditches her job I London and moves into a yellow mansion owned by a bachelor. She embraces the Brazilian way of life, flirts with high society, collaborates with an Italian revolutionary, and more.

The project begins shooting in Rio sometime next year.
