Variety reports that New Line Cinema has acquired the rights to time-travel novel The Thirteenth Hour by Richard Doetsch.
The book is described as a cross between “Bourne Identity” and “The Time Traveler’s Wife,” telling the tale of a man accused of brutally murdering his wife. He is given a chance to save her by going back in time, in one-hour increments. He puts together clues to figure out who killed her and why.
It is being produced by Michael de Luca. The feature will be one of his first New Line projects since leaving his post as production president eight years ago.
