Winners — ‘Blindness’ Book

September 26th, 2008 in Book-to-Movie, Books, Contests, GiveAways -

Congratulations to Aya, Post #88, and Rose Roberts, Post #125, you both won “Blindness” book.

The movie Blindness is based on Jose Saramago’s book “Blindness.” The story allows the readers to embrace the idea of humanity for those who are forced to rely on each other when their sight has left them. The blindness is a while glare, which results in chaos, degradation and lack of civility.

I have two copies of the book “Blindness” by Saramago.  As we all know, the book is never like the movie.  Although you may find some similarities.

Blindness is a nice refreshment in the niche of apocalyptic movies. Plot is intriguing, characters are well developed. We see how people can turn into the different persons in special situation.

Yes, good point: people can turn into different persons in special situations — some turn good and help.
