Empire Online reports that Jean-Jacques Annaud is in talks to direct Kashmir, a bounty hunter tale in development at Relativity Media.

Written by D.B. Weiss, the story revolves around three mercenaries who stumble upon information as to where a wanted terrorist will be for a short period of time. They decide to travel to the volatile region between India and Pakistan to catch the terrorist and claim the $30 million bounty on his head.

Shooting will begin in late spring.
