Costner to be Durham Again

The New York Post reports that Kevin Costner plans to don his role of Crash Davis from the 1988 baseball-themed romantic comedy Bull Durham again.
The sequel is expected to see Costner, Tim Robbins and Susan Saradon return, with the latter playing the married owners of a Major League Baseball team Costner’s character manages. His love interest is also being considered, with Kristen Kerr to be one of the major contenders.
No timeframe for the sequel was given, though it is known that Costner recently met with director Ron Shelton to discuss the project.
Now were talking! Hollywood keeps wasting time “re-making” great movies. Great idea to bring one back with the same folks in a new scenario. This could be really cool!
