Did it ever occur to you that the current Bond just might play Thor one day? No? It didn’t come to me either, but Daniel Craig has revealed that Marvel Studios did indeed approach him to play the role of the Norse god in the upcoming comic book adaptation.

However, you won’t be seeing Craig in those flowing locks, sporting a large hammer. He has turned down the role, saying that it would be “too much a power trip” to play both Bond and Thor.

Quantum of Solace is the latest Bond film, and is the second Bond movie starring Craig.
