Hoffman Joins Mary and Max

photo16 Philip Seymour Hoffman has joined the cast of Mary and Max, an Australian claymation project. He and Toni Collette will play the title roles in the story of pen pals – one living in Australia, the other in the US – with the movie following them as their friendship grows.

The film will be narrated by the legendary Barry Humphries and feature cameos from Eric Bana, singer Renee Geyer, music critic Ian Meldrum and more.

Adam Elliot and Melanie Coombs make their feature film directorial debut on this project.
