The trades are reporting that Walden Media has picked up Carley and Chelsea Steiner’s family-comedy spec script Tough Cookies.

The story is focused on a judge ordering a deadbat dad and his rebellious daughter’s friends to form a girl scout troop. They then use their unconventional ways to compete against snobby rivals to win a national scout competition.

Jordan Kerner is attached to produce. No production date was given.
