Morgan Wants to be ‘Wanted’ Again

November 6th, 2008 in Action, Screenwriting, Sequels -

110607d Wanted co-writer Chris Morgan has said to MTV News that he is ready to pen a sequel for Universal Pictures, who is apparently in the final stages of negotiating a deal with graphic novel creator Mark Millar.

The studio hopes to have the sequel continue the journey of Wes (the protagonist, played by James McAvoy) started in the first film. Sadly, Angelina Jolie won’t be any part of it.

The sequel’s story is expected to be more global, with Wes globetrotting to find out other assassins. No release date is known yet.
