Steve Carrell is being tapped to be the lead for The Beaver, the debut spec script by Kyle Killen which has been picked up by Anonymous Content.

The film will follow a man who walks around with a beaver puppet on his hand, treating it as someone close and with human emotions.

No director is currently attached to the project, though that is sure to change in the coming months.
