Emily Blunt has stepped forward as the favorite to play Natasha Romanoff in the Iron Man sequel. Romanoff character is a Soviet superspy who doubles as a Black Widow, a beautiful skintight black costume enhanced by high-tech weapons, another nemesis for Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark.

According to Variety, Blunt credits include The Devil Wears Prada, The Jane Austen Book Club and Charlie Wilson’s War.
