Although the second film hasn’t even started shooting yet, directors are already said to be circling the third Twilight film Eclipse. The directors are Juan Antonio Bayona (The Orphanage) and James Marigold (3:10 to Yuma).

This comes from Thompson’s column on Variety – he notes that things are already heating up on the third installment, though distributor Summit Entertainment insists that no meetings are scheduled as of yet.

New Moon, the upcoming sequel, will begin shooting later this year.
