Lena Headey to Make Directing Debut
Empire Online reports that Lena Headey (Sarah Connor Chronicles) will make her directorial debut on the dark, low-budget British thriller Kill Drug.
Written by Tom Bacon, the film will follow Sally, the daughter of Sue, a woman who murders her abusive husband in the 70s and then goes on to found an underground vigilante network in present-day London.
When Sally is recruited into the gang, she discovers that all is not what it seems, and that power might have corrupted her mother completely.
The part of Sally is yet to be cast, though Jason Flemyng and Charlotte Rampling are attached with the film. Headey is also expected to take a small role. Shooting will commence in January next year.
