Talking to The Playlist, director Jon Favreau revealed that 20th Century Fox has exercised its option for Emily Blunt to star in Gulliver’s Travels, basically barring her from showing up in the upcoming Iron Man sequel.

She was set to star in Iron Man 2 as Russian superspy Natasha Romanoff, who doubles as Black Widow.

Development on the film is still going on, with the writers still “slaving away on a hot script.” Hopefully it will be “hot” enough and they will get another awesome actress to step into the shoes of Black Widow.
