Variety reports that Peter Baynham (Borat, Bruno) will pen the remake of Dudley Moore’s 1981 comedy Arthur for Warner Bros.

The project is being shaped as an acting vehicle for Russell Brand (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) as the boozy playboy who plans to marry into a rich family. His plan goes wrong, however, when he falls in love with a working class girl.
