Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres is coming soon to the big screen as Warner Bros. has picked up the rights to animated feature film Dog Show.

Plot details are scarce at the moment, though it is known that the story centers on a stray dog and her misfit friends who shake up the famed and pure-bred world of a Westminster-like dog show.

The film was developed by Alan Schoolcraft and Brent Simons and producer David Manpearl; Warner beat out various studios for the rights to the film. It will be produced by Eagle Eye writer John Glenn along with DeGeneres.
