Robot Chicken creator Seth Green will star in Walt Disney’s upcoming animated film Mars Needs Moms, an adaptation of Berkeley Breathed’s children’s novel.

The film will follow a boy named Milo (Seth Green) who stows away on board a spaceship to rescue his mother (Joan Cusack) after she was kidnapped by aliens.

Other actors in the project include Mindy Sterling (Austin Powers), who plays the role of alien leader of Mars, inspiring terror in all who meet her. Dan Fogler (Fanboys) plays Gribble, a friend of Milo.

Simon and Wendy Wells adapted the screenplay with the former directing. Producers include Robert Zemeckis, Jack Rapke and Steve Starkey.
