Me and Kaminski Coming to a Screen Near You

In more novel adaptation news, Zeit and Variety are reporting that Daniel Bruehl and director Wolfgang Becker are reteaming for Me and Kaminski, an adaptation of Daniel Kehlmann’s 2003 novel.
The book followed a shameless and opportunistic young art critic who sets out to write a biography of an enigmatic painter in his quest for fortune and glory. However, he first has to convince the aging artist, who lives with his daughter in the Alps.
Shooting will begin this fall in Europe. The story took readers through Western Europe – from the Alps into France, Germany and Belgium. The film is expected to do the same.
